She did age differently: Nyssa at 70-75 looked like Sarah at age 50. From which I calculated Nyssa aged about 2/3rds the speed of humans, and therefore Trakenite lifespan should be about 150 (or more, depending on medical advances).
But then Emerald Tiger reset her to 18-20. Which should've given her another100-150 years or so.
Either way, the writers of older!Nyssa were pretty bad about referring to her as "girl" even when she was in her 70s. Which probably explains the backwards-aging; they couldn't be troubled to remember. :P
Fifthx originally had me convinced that Prisoners of Fate should've been the end, but you raise another important point: Neeka. Probably it should've ended with Neeka waking up and telling off Mom! But introducing one character for an epilogue would be a tough sell.
Still sorry it wasn't Neeka hearing the story in Entropy Plague.
Something felt "off". It's funny you say that. I felt it too, and I can't quite put my finger on why. I still enjoy them. But sometimes there's a piece missing, and I'm not sure what.
